FyreWrap Fire Protection Insulation Products |
FyreWrap fire protection products are a range of high temperature insulation blanket materials specifically designed to provide a flexible fire-resistant wrap for ducts, plenums, shafts, chutes, etc.
FyreWrap fire protection products incorporate Insulfrax bio-soluble calcium-magnesium-silicate high temperature insulation fibers, as core thermal insulation. Insulfrax fibers are recommended for continuous use at temperatures up to 1000°C (1832°F) and are characterized by, low thermal conductivity, low heat storage, excellent thermal shock resistance, light weight, and superior corrosion resistance. FyreWrap fire protection products therefore provide excellent thermal insulation in a flexible non-combustible blanket form.
FyreWrap insulation products are widely applied for fire-protection in a range of industrial and commercial applications, as a flexible alternative to fire-resistance-rated shaft enclosures. Applications include kitchen exhaust grease ducts, ventilation ducts, stairwell pressurization ducts, chemical exhaust ducts, refuse and linen chutes, etc. This highly flexible product can even be used to cover plastic pipe and cables to limit flame spread and smoke generation in fire rated return air plenums.

FyreWrap 0.5 Fire Resistant Plastic Pipe & Cable Wrap is a high temperature insulation blanket specifically designed to provide a single layer, flexible enclosure around combustible items located within fire-rated return air plenums.
New construction, building renovations or modifications to electrical and mechanical systems may result in the installation of plastic pipe or plastic-coated cables that cannot meet the minimum combustibility requirements defined in the Mechanical Code. FyreWrap 0.5 Fire Resistant Plastic Pipe & Cable Wrap provides
fire protection for these installed items by preventing flame propagation and smoke development in the plenum area.

FyreWrap EZ 1.5 Duct Insulation Single-Layer System |

FyreWrap EZ 1.5 Duct Insulation System is a new optimized single layer flexible enclosure for kitchen exhaust grease ducts and chemical fume ducts. It has a 1- and 2-hour fire-resistance rating, and can be installed with zero clearance to combustibles at all locations on the wrap.
FyreWrap EZ 1.5 Duct Insulation System provides proven tested fire protection in lieu of constructing a traditional shaft wall enclosure. This compact product provides fire protection with the thinnest lightest system available and results in significant weight, space and labor savings when compared to traditional gypsum shaft walls or competitive wrap systems. Typical Parameters: 1.5in thickness, 24in or 40in wide, x 25 linear feet, 6pcf density. Standard covering is scrim encapsulated.

FyreWrap MAX 2.0 Duct Insulation Single-Layer System is a high temperature insulation blanket specifically designed to provide a single layer, flexible fire-resistant enclosure for 1- and 2-hour rated kitchen exhaust ducts and chemical fume ducts.
FyreWrap MAX 2.0 Duct Insulation is applied directly onto the duct surface. Three installation techniques are permitted based upon independent fire test lab results (see Product Information Sheet for full details).
FyreWrap MAX 2.0 Duct Insulation provides proven tested fire resistance in lieu of constructing a traditional shaft wall enclosure. Product Parameters are 2in thickness, 8pcf density, and Standard product is scrim encapsulated.

Fiberfrax XFP Expanding Fyre Paper is a flexible intumescent mat which expands up to 3x in thickness when exposed to fire. Fiberfrax XFP Paper is used in fire resistant applications, to fill cracks or voids and prevent the spread of fire, smoke and fumes. FyreWrap XFP Paper is available in various forms:
