FyreWrap Elite fire protection systems incorporate Insulfrax® as their core thermal insulation component. Insulfrax high temperature insulation products are made from calcia, magnesia, silica chemistry designed to enhance biosolubility. Insulfrax high temperature insulation fibers are recommended for continuous use at temperatures up to 2021°F (1100°C), and are characterized by, low thermal conductivity, low heat storage, excellent thermal shock resistance, light weight, and superior corrosion resistance.
FyreWrap Elite fire protection products provide excellent thermal insulation in a flexible non-combustible blanket form.

FyreWrap Elite 1.5 Duct Insulation System is a high temperature insulation blanket specifically designed to provide one and two-hour fire ratings around fire rated ventilation ducts. This flexible, fire protection wrap meets the requirements defined by the Mechanical Code and is an alternative to a traditional fire-rated shaftwall enclosure around ducts.
FyreWrap Elite 1.5 Duct Insulation is ideal for application with most air duct types, including smoke control ducts, stairwell and vestibule pressurization ducts, ventilation ducts, supply/return ducts, commercial dryer exhaust ducts, and also for use with refuse chutes or linen chutes.
FyreWrap Elite 1.5 Duct Insulation can be installed in a single-layer for 1 and 2-hour ratings, complies with ISO6944, and is listed by Intertek Testing Services (formerly Omega Point Lab (OPL)).

FyreWrap Elite 1.5 ASTM E2336 Grease Duct Insulation System is a 2-Layer high temperature blanket system specifically designed to provide a one and two hour fire rated enclosure for kitchen exhaust (grease) ducts. This flexible fire protection duct wrap meets the requirements defined by the International Mechanical Code (IMC), Uniform Mechanical Code (UMC), and the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA 96), and is an alternative traditional fire-rated shaftwall enclosure around ducts.
