FyreWrap insulation products are available in 3 basic forms that may be applied in a range of industrial and commercial fire-protection applications:
FyreWrap Duct Wrap Products are a flexible alternative to fire-resistance-rated shaft enclosures for use in kitchen exhaust grease ducts, ventilation ducts, stairwell pressurization ducts, chemical exhaust ducts, refuse and linen chutes, and around combustible items located in fire-rated return air plenums.
FyreWrap XFP Expanding Paper Products exhibit a 3:1 expansion ratio when exposed above 620°F (327°C) in order to plug gaps inhibiting the spread of flames, heat, and smoke.
FyreWrap Insulation Blanket Products are available in different compositions to suit various marine applications such as bulkhead insulation & fire-protection or for railroad tank car fire-protection.
Each FyreWrap insulation & fire protection form was specifically developed for use in fire-resistance / fire protection application, resulting in a range of Application-Specific Optimized Fire Protection Systems:
